I sent to Hap and Paul but here are the Minutes The January meeting of the Midlands Astronomy Club was held on January 3rd. The meeting began with a brief greeting and welcoming speech be our President Hap Griffin, followed by an observing report by Paul R. two visitors were recognized be VP Brian Peterson. Hap gave mini Program showing pictures of Comet 8P/Tuttle during which the overhead projector broke. A short Christmas show and tell was presented while Hap tried to find another projector. The main speaker for the evening John Hodge, did a nice job inviting everyone to gather 'round the laptop for his presentation. John talked about the Voyager I and II space probes, and the possibility of Methane on Saturn's moon Titan. John has another presentation which he will speak on at a later meeting. After the meeting refreshments were served in the ETV Lobby and members were invited to view Mars through the clubs 12 inch Dob. Doyle
